BREVARD, N.C. - Junior Stevie Williams (High Point, N.C.) finished with 21 points as the Brevard College Tornados (2-24, 0-20 SAC) dropped their final home contest of the season by a final of 77-60 to the Catawba College Indians (17-9, 11-9 SAC).

Williams capped off the home finale 6-16 from the floor, while freshman Levi Lamb (Atlanta, Ga.) continued his hot streak for the Tornados as the true freshman knocked down 3-5 three point attempts in route to a 15 point, six rebound performance.

In their final home game as members of the blue and white, seniors Harry Singh (Hanover Park, Ill.) finished nine points, five rebounds and a game-high three assists, while Omar El Diroaui (Beirut, Lebanon) collected a team-best seven rebounds.

Catawba's Troy Warren proved to be the games x-factor as the post finished with a double-double, adding a game-high 34 points and 10 rebounds, while also rejecting three shots on the afternoon.

Following a Williams lay-up to open the game, Catawba benefited from a 6-0 run to take a slight 6-2 lead before Williams connected on a jump shot and Singh netted a layup to cut the Indians lead to 8-6.

Coming out of the 16-minute media timeout, Catawba would increase their lead to as many as nine points at the midway point of the first half, however Brevard would counter, cutting the deficit back to two points on three by Lamb and a layup by junior Shelby Parris (Burlington, N.J.).

Catawba would close out the final four minutes of first half action on an 11-2 run to take a 33-22 lead into the break.

The Indians would increase their lead 15 points coming out of the break as the Tornados would battle to get the deficit back to 10 points, however Catawba would benefit from several Brevard turnovers and clutch shooting as the Salisbury, N.C. native opened up a 22-point lead with 6:10 remaining in regulation.

Brevard would not go quietly on the afternoon as the blue and white managed to cut the lead to 14 points on two different occasions, however Catawba would find an answer to increase their lead and take a 77-60 decision in Brevard.

The Tornados will be back in action this coming Wednesday, Feb. 22 as they take to the road for their final two contests of the 2016-17 season, battling Carson-Newman, followed by Newberry on Saturday, Feb. 25.
