BREVARD, N.C.- The Brevard women's soccer team fell to Pfeiffer 3-1 in the Tornado's first home match of the season on Wednesday night.

Maddie Capel led the way with two goals for the Falcons, as Pfeiffer improved to 2-3-0 on the season.

The first goal of the match came in the 29th minute, when Capel capitalized off of a deflected ball from Brevard goalkeeper Rebeccah Rojas.

In the second half, Falcon freshman Cayci Eaton scored her fifth goal of the season to make the score 2-0 in the 48th minute.

Later in the half, Maddie Capel scored her second goal in the 78th minute to make the score 3-0 in favor of the Falcons.

In the 87th minute, Tornado senior Sydney Alencewicz found the back of the net to make the score 3-1.

Brevard will return to the pitch September 15th against Emory & Henry at 7 p.m.
