GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Brevard College women's basketball team (6-2) cruised to a 61-42 win at Bob Jones University (2-6) on Tuesday evening in Greenville, South Carolina, to complete the season sweep over the Bruins. 
 
Jada Petty-Wilkins scored a season-best 15 points with three made 3-pointers. Christena Rhone also hit three 3's for a total of nine points, while Olivia Miller totaled 10 points and five rebounds. A total of 11 different Tornados got into the scoring column, while a season-high 16 Tornados played in the contest. Chyna Pouncey grabbed a team-best eight rebounds, with Makenna Parkins adding six points and six rebounds. 
 
Brevard led from the 4-2 mark and did not look back at all, opening up a 20-3 scoring run in the first quarter to hold a double-digit lead for much of the game. BJU cut the deficit to within single digits once late in the second period, but BC managed to hold a 36-25 lead at the intermission. 
 
Bob Jones cut the deficit again to within seven in the middle of the third period, but the Tornados pushed their lead back out to double figures, 46-34. 
 
BC kicked off the fourth quarter on a 13-0 scoring run to effectively put the game away, as the Tornados wrapped up the 19-point win on the road. 
 
Brevard outshot BJU 36% to 28%, and the Tornado bench contributed heavily with 38 of BC's 61 points. 
 
BC jumps back into USA South Conference action on Saturday as the Tornados travel to Raleigh, North Carolina to take on William Peace University at 2 p.m.
