BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College men's tennis team (3-10, 2-2 USA South) blanked Mary Baldwin (0-9, 0-5 USAS) 9-0 in USA South Conference play on Saturday afternoon at the McCoy Tennis Complex.

The Tornados opened the day by not losing a single game with two dominant wins in doubles play. The teams of
Devin Horton and
Hayden LeBlanc (no. 1 doubles) and
Peter Bresko and
James Srsich (no. 2 doubles both cruised to 8-0 victories. Number three doubles also resulted in a win for the Tornados due to a default by MBU.

Bryce Bernitt led the charge for the Tornados with a 6-0, 6-0 victory in number one singles. BC's
Noah Lewis put together a strong performance, winning 6-2, 6-1 in number two singles.Â
David Hoyle came up big in number three singles with a 6-1, 6-0 finish.Â
Charles Bertanzetti finished off his opponent 6-1, 6-2 in number four singles. Â

Brevard completed the sweep with wins in number five and six singles, both by default. Â

The Tornados return to action on Wednesday, April 10 with a non-conference match at Maryville in Maryville, Tennessee.  Â
