Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Brevard College volleyball team (6-17, 3-8 USA South) dropped a 3-0 decision to league leader Greensboro College (20-2, 13-0 USAS) on Wednesday evening.

Caroline Moon paced BC's offense, matching the game high with seven kills.
Izzy Boulay distributed 10 assists out, while
Kylie Katcher (15 digs) and
Jaxson Tumicki (two solo blocks) were at the helm of Brevard's defense.

Sixteen different players for the Pride saw action in the matchup. Taylor Cotie and Payton Shiflet each totaled seven kills, with Jaylyn Templeton facilitating the offense with 23 assists. Morgan Mayfield totaled 14 digs for the Pride defense.

The Pride made very few mistakes in the first set, hitting .526 en route to a 15-point set win, 25-10. Moon led the way for the Tornados with three kills in the frame.

Brevard narrowed the gap in set number two, holding the Pride to a .182 hitting percentage, but the hosts pulled away with an eight point victory, 25-17. The Pride responded with a 10-point third set victory to close the match out.

The Tornados return home for a senior day doubleheader on Saturday, facing William Peace at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Boshamer Gymnasium. Senior Day ceremonies will take place before the first match.
