BC Men’s Soccer Season Concludes at Pfeiffer

Tornados Finish 2025 Campaign

MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Brevard College men's soccer team (5-6-4, 2-4-1 USA South) fell to unbeaten USA South Conference Regular Season Champion Pfeiffer (13-0-3, 5-0-2 USAS) by a final of 1-0 on Wednesday evening, wrapping up the 2025 campaign for the Tornados.

Following a scoreless first period, the Falcons found the back of the net in the 52nd minute, and shut down the Brevard offense from that point forward to clinch the regular season title.

BC's Roi Abutbul took the first shot of the contest in the first minute to help set the tone early for Brevard. Martin Moguel Aguilar fired an attempt off in the fifth minute, as the Tornado continued to apply pressure.

Tristan Bayssade ripped a 17th minute shot that forced a save by Pfeiffer's Seth Limbert. Nearly 15 minutes later, Caue dos Santos took BC's final shot attempt of the first period. The Falcons outshot the Tornados 6-4 in the first half of action.

The Falcons were able to break through in the 52nd minute of play as Barrett Owens scored off a Jaiden Wright assist, putting the hosts on top by one score.

Following Brandon King's 48th minute shot attempt, the Falcon defense stifled the Tornados and prevented the Tornados from taking another attempt at goal until the 87th minute of play.

Freshman goalkeeper Manuel Tovar Hagstrom made a total of five saves for the Tornados.

The result concludes the 2025 campaign for the Tornados. Abutbul scored a team-high six goals in 2025, with dos Santos, Will Finney, and Will Hall all adding three scores apiece. German Garcia dished out a team-high five assists. Five Tornados – dos Santos, Finney, Hayden Domingo, Moguel Aguilar, and Leonardo Zabeu were celebrated at Senior Day in BC's final home match of the season.
