GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Brevard College volleyball team (7-24) finished off the 2025 season with a a 3-0 defeat to top-seeded Greensboro (27-2) on Tuesday evening.
The postseason appearance marked Brevard's third-straight and fourth in five seasons.
The Tornados were able to keep the first set tight against the Pride, trailing by three in the later stages of the frame, 17-14, before a 8-3 run clinched the set for GC.
Brevard stayed within striking distance in set two, trailing by just four late, 22-18 before Greensboro scored the final three points of the set.
Brevard scored the first three points of the third set, but the Pride answered with the next 25 of 24 to close out the match.
Caroline Moon recorded a team-best seven kills, with Madison Warren distributing nine assists. Taylor Cotie and Payton Shiflet each had 10 kills to pace the Pride offense.
