BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College volleyball team (7-22, 4-13 USA South) battled down to the wire in a five-set thriller, coming up just short against Salem (24-6, 13-4 USAS) 3-2 (22-25, 25-17, 25-21, 23-25, 15-6) on Tuesday evening at the Boshamer Gymnasium.

The result marked the third five-set match of the season for the Tornados.
