BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College softball program has released its slate of opponents ahead of the 2026 season.

Bre Shearin. "Our roster depth is exciting so It will be fun to see so many different athletes succeed in one doubleheader. We already are having great chemistry through our Fall season that will carry over to the Spring, and we cant wait to get going and see all the support provided by Nado Nation!

The Tornados conclude their preseason with a doubleheader exhibition in Spartanburg, S.C. on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 1 and 3 p.m. against Spartanburg Methodist. BC then returns home the following Sunday, February 22 for the regular season opening doubleheader against Johnson and Wales-NC.

BC hits the road for a pair of twin bills against Covenant in Lookout Mountain, Ga. (Saturday, Feb. 28, 1/3 p.m.) and vs. Maryville in Maryville, Tenn. (Wednesday, March 4). The Tornados will be back at the BC Softball Field on Sunday, March 8, as the Tornados host a round robin with Berea and Wesleyan.

For the fourth-consecutive season, the Tornados will take part in the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Break Classic, from Wednesday-Friday, March 11-13 in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., where Brevard will compete in six total contests.

BC's final non-conference doubleheader is on the road in Demorest, Ga., where the Tornados will take on Piedmont at 12 and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18. Brevard's USA South Conference schedule starts in Raleigh, N.C. with a Saturday, March 21 doubleheader against Meredith at 1 and 3 p.m.

A six-game conference homestand begins on Tuesday, March 24 at 1 and 3 p.m. against Salem, and continues with doubleheaders vs. Mary Baldwin (Friday, March 27, 1 and 3 p.m.) and vs. Southern Virginia (Saturday, March 28, 1 and 3 p.m.).
The month of April starts on the road on Saturday, April 4 at 1 and 3 p.m. at Methodist in Fayetteville, N.C. The Tornados then make a midweek trip to Greensboro, N.C. to battle Greensboro (Tuesday, April 7, 2 and 4 p.m.).

BC is back at home on Saturday, April 11 to take on NC Wesleyan at 1 and 3 p.m. before its final regular season road trip, heading back to Raleigh to face William Peace the following Saturday, April 18 at 1 and 3 p.m. Brevard closes out regular season play by welcoming Pfeiffer to the BC Softball Field on Saturday, April 25 at 1 and 3 p.m.

The 2026 USA South Conference Softball Tournament begins with two four-team double elimination tournaments from Thursday-Saturday, April 30-May 2. A USA South champion will be crowned in a three-game championship series taking place on Friday and Saturday, May 8-9.
