BREVARD, N.C. – Senior defensive lineman Obadiah Grimes was selected to D3football.com's All-Region 3 Third Team, representing Brevard College football. The honor gives the Tornado football program 11 D3football.com All-Region selections since BC transitioned to NCAA DIII.
 
The award marks Grimes' first career All-Region honor, as the fourth-year lineman from Lawrenceville, Ga. made a big impact for the Tornados in 2025, leading to USA South All-Conference First Team honors. Grimes made a career-best 16 solo stops with 30 total tackles and accumulated a career-high seven tackles for loss, a career-best five sacks, and forced two fumbles in 10 starts for BC. Over the course of his four-year playing career, Grimes racked up 104 total tackles (49 solo, 55 assisted, 16 and a half tackles for loss, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, a blocked kick, and three pass breakups.
