CLEVELAND, Ga. - The Brevard College women's tennis team (4-0) remained unbeaten, sweeping doubles action while adding four singles wins for a 5-2 victory over Truett McConnell (2-5) at the TMU Tennis Complex.
The match originally began on Wednesday, but was suspended due to weather conditions and was finished on Thursday.
Brevard kicked things off on Wednesday by sweeping all three doubles matches in dominating fashion. Teams of no. 2

Casey Wampler earned 6-1 victories, while no. 1 duo of
Hannah Hersh and
Sophie Trantham took the top-flight doubles matches, 6-2.
BC, with a 1-0 match lead, breezed through singles action, taking four out of six matches for the three-point triumph. Hersh (6-4, 6-4), Ore (6-3, 6-1), Spangler (6-1, 6-4), and Wampler (6-3, 6-3) all earned wins to propel the Tornados to the match victory.
The Tornados are back in action with the USA South Conference opener on Saturday, March 15 at noon vs. NC Wesleyan at the McCoy Tennis Complex in Brevard, North Carolina.
