Methodist cruised 6-3 at the three-spot, leaving the doubles point to be decided at the no. 2 line. Bowen and Ore battled fiercely, and the match went to a tiebreaker, but the Monarchs were able to pull away 7-2 in the tiebreaking game, and win the match overall 7-6.
