BREVARD, N.C. - Brevard College standout senior forward
Jadon Carnes earned his second USA South Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week selection of the 2025-26 season after a big individual week in the final week of the year.
Â
Carnes, a four-year contributor from Concord, N.C., put up a career-high 33 points in a historic 108-81 victory for the Tornados against Greensboro, and followed that performance up with a memorable outing on Senior Day, matching that career-best scoring output with 33 points vs. NC Wesleyan.
Â
Appearing in 101 total games with 95 starts in his four seasons with the Tornados, Carnes totaled 1,252 points (12.4 ppg), 501 field goals made, 116 3-pointers made, 134 free throws made, 318 rebounds, 274 assists, 56 steals, and 20 blocks. Carnes hit his field goal attempts at a BC NCAA-era record 61.4% clip, drained 41.6% of his 3-pointers, and went 85.9% at the free throw line - which is the best mark for any Tornado in the NCAA era with a minimum of 100 attempts. Carnes' 1252 career points are the third-most in Brevard's NCAA era, and his 18.2 points-per-game are the most by an individual player since BC transitioned to NCAA DIII.
Â
The Player of the Week nod is the second of the season for Carnes, and the third of his collegiate career.
