CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Brevard College men's tennis dropped a narrow 4-3 decision to JWU Charlotte on Friday afternoon in a tightly contested nonconference matchup.
After JWU swept the doubles point, Brevard responded with three-straight singles victories to pull even in the match.
Noah Boyles earned a straight-sets win at No. 2 singles, while
Nathan Bookout followed with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 3.
Alexander Voss added the third Tornado point at No. 4 singles with a hard-fought win. However, JWU Charlotte secured the deciding point at No. 5 singles, rallying in three sets to clinch the match and team win.
