BREVARD, N.C - Daniel Pinkney has been named the Assistant Coach of Brevard College men's soccer, announced Head Coach Helio "L" D'Anna.
"We are so thrilled that Daniel is joining our staff!," commented Coach L. "His qualifications are superb and his passion for the game is contagious. He will bring a unique background that will be very welcome."
Prior to joining the Tornado coaching staff, Pinkney has garnered 11 years of coaching experience across elite academy, semi-professional, and collegiate-adjacent environments around Europe and the United States. Pinkney began his coaching career within the Youth Academy of Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, where he assisted with training sessions, squad management, travel logistics, and performance routines.
Pinkney served as an assistant coach with the Bristol Rhythm of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) in the 2025 season, and has worked as the Head Coach of the FC Ausseerland U16 squad since 2024, located in Bad Aussee, Austria.
Some of Pinkney's coaching accomplishments include helping three players to English Premier League academies, guiding nine players to the men's semi-professional first team since 2024, and earning a 2025 league championship with FC Ausseerland U16.
Pinkney earned Bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Central Baptist College in Conway, Arkansas, and currently holds a D-level coaching license from UEFA.
