MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Brevard College men's tennis dropped a 7-0 decision on the road Tuesday afternoon against nationally ranked Pfeiffer University at the Knapp Tennis Center in USA South Conference action.
 
The Falcons secured the doubles point by winning at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, but the Tornados responded with their strongest result of the day at No. 3 doubles. Caelan Byrd and Connor Sechrist earned a decisive 6-2 victory despite the Falcons taking the 1-0 match lead.
 
Pfeiffer carried control into singles and completed the sweep with straight-set victories on all six courts. Ayden Montero competed at the top spot for Brevard, while Noah Boyles, Nathan Bookout, Alexander Voss, Caelan Byrd and Connor Sechrist rounded out the Tornado lineup across singles positions.
 
BC is back in action Thursday at 4 p.m. against JWU Charlotte at the McCoy Tennis Complex.
