BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College men's lacrosse senior long-stick midfielder
Max Dorman and goalkeeper
Jameson Murray each set single-season program records, but BC (0-14, 0-6 USA South) fell 27-3 to Piedmont (6-7, 4-2 USAS) on Friday evening at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
Dorman, a senior from Charleston, S.C., caused three turnovers in the contest to bring his season total to 35, setting a new single-season high for caused turnovers. Murray, also from Charleston, is up to 244 saves on the season, which is a new Tornado single-season high.
Gage Khayat notched a hat trick, but the Lions surged to the 27-3 victory. Dorman and
Colin Eifler each caused three turnovers, while
Logan Southern won 12 faceoffs.
Thirteen different Piedmont players found the back of the net, while nine Lions scored multiple goals.
BC is back to work on Tuesday, April 14 at 4 p.m. in Misenheimer, N.C. against Pfeiffer.
