BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College volleyball program has released its 2026 schedule.
 
The upcoming slate includes 29 regular-season contests, 18 USA South Conference matchups, and a total of 10 matches at the Boshamer Gymnasium. Additionally, the Tornados will compete in a pair of preseason scrimmages on the road.
 
"We're really excited about this group and the season ahead," commented Head Coach Abbie Parde. "We have a great core of returners and a talented incoming class we're eager to bring together. The team has been putting in the work, and we're looking forward to competing against a talented USA South Conference."
 
Before the start of the 2026 regular season, BC will compete in two scrimmages at Spartanburg Methodist (Tuesday, Aug. 25, 7 p.m.) and at Bob Jones (Thursday, Aug. 27, 7 p.m.) before the 2026 season opener on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the Boshamer Gymnasium vs. Warren Wilson, with first serve scheduled for 7 p.m.
 
Brevard will travel to Berea, Ky., for the Berea College Mountaineer Classic, where the Tornados will compete in three total matches against Berea (Friday, Sept. 4, 7 p.m.), vs. Spalding (Saturday, Sept. 5, 10:30 a.m.), and vs. Maryville (Saturday, Sept. 5, 1 p.m.). BC will travel to Warren Wilson for a return match on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. before competing in the Maroon Classic for the second consecutive season, hosted by Roanoke College. The Tornados first compete against NC Wesleyan (Friday, Sept. 11, 6 p.m.) before taking on host Roanoke (Friday, Sept. 11, 8 p.m.) Brevard concludes action at the tournament against Randolph (Saturday, Sept. 12, 1 p.m.) and St. Mary's College of Maryland (Saturday, Sept. 12, 3 p.m.).
 
The Tornados next visit Piedmont for a Wednesday, Sept. 16 match at 6 p.m. ahead of the USA South opening tri-match at The Bosh vs. NC Wesleyan (10 a.m.) and Southern Virginia (2 p.m.) on Saturday, Sept. 19. BC then travels to Pfeiffer for a midweek match on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. before hosting William Peace on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 12 p.m., and finishing the two-match homestand vs. Salem on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 6 p.m.
 
The month of October begins with a road tri-match in Fayetteville, N.C., on Friday, Oct. 2, vs. Methodist (12 p.m.) and Mary Baldwin (2 p.m.). BC then returns to The Bosh to take on Greensboro on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at 6 p.m. The Tornados visit Meredith on Friday, Oct. 9, at 5 p.m. before hosting Piedmont on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. BC then heads to Buena Vista, Va., for a tri-match on Saturday, Oct. 17, vs. Southern Virginia (10 a.m.) and NC Wesleyan (12 p.m.).
 
Another midweek home matchup is on deck when Pfeiffer comes to town on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 6 p.m. before another trip to Raleigh to face William Peace on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 12 p.m.  Brevard then heads to Salem on Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 6 p.m. before the final USA South tri-match of the season on Friday, Oct. 30, at The Bosh, hosting Mary Baldwin (12 p.m.) and Methodist (4 p.m.).
 
The final two regular-season matches of 2026 are at Greensboro on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m., and Senior Night vs. Meredith on Friday, Nov. 6, at 5 p.m. The 2026 USA South Conference Volleyball Tournament begins on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
