RALEIGH, N.C. – The Brevard College women's lacrosse team (3-12) concluded the 2026 season with a 24-0 defeat at Meredith (15-4) on Saturday morning.
Senior defender
Emma Demcovich controlled a team-high five ground balls, while
Jordan Frenette and
Delaina Smallwood each caused turnovers.
Kyla Smith-Fondall set a new single-season Tornado record for saves, stopping nine shots to bring her total this season to 190.
Brevard, who earned the eight-seed in the 2026 USA South Conference Tournament, made its fourth-straight trip to the postseason. The result caps the careers of four Tornados –
Amanda Barnes, Demcovich,
Xan Hill, and Smallwood. Hill finishes her illustrious Tornado career with 137 goals and 86 assists for 223 career points.
