BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College men's soccer team has announced its schedule for 2026.
The slate features two regular-season tournaments on the road at neutral sites, seven regular-season home matches, and seven contests against USA South Conference opposition.
"We are so excited about both the season to come and the schedule we put together for the program," commented Head Coach Helio "L" D'Anna. "Our conference is tough as it is, but we also added an exceptional regional schedule. We will be challenged each day, but we feel we are ready for it."
The 2026 preseason will conclude with a home scrimmage at Ives-Lemel Family Field on Wednesday, August 26, at 5 p.m. as Maryville comes to town. BC will then kick off the regular season on Saturday, September 5, at 3:30 p.m. against Oglethorpe at the Emory Tournament in Atlanta, as the two sides square off at the Woodruff PE Center Stadium. Brevard will then face host Emory on Sunday, September 6, at 6 p.m. to close out the weekend.
More in-season tournament play follows as the Tornados travel to Danville, Ky., for the Centre Tournament, first facing Spalding on Friday, September 11, at 5:30 p.m., at Amend Field, before a match against host Centre at 2:15 p.m. on Sunday, September 13.
BC's first home match of the regular season comes on Saturday, September 19, at 3 p.m. vs. Berea before a two-match road swing against Covenant in Lookout Mountain, Ga. (Tuesday, Sept. 22, 6 pm.), and the USA South opener at Mary Baldwin in Staunton, Va. (Saturday, Sept. 26, 12 p.m.). The month of September wraps up on Wednesday the 30
th, as the Tornados host Greensboro under the lights for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
October starts at home as the Tornados continue a five-game homestand, as William Peace visits Ives-Lemel Family Field on Saturday, October 3, at 6 p.m. Three more matches wrap up the stretch at home, vs. JWU Charlotte (Wednesday, Oct. 7, 6 p.m.), vs. NC Wesleyan (Saturday, Oct. 10, 2 p.m.), and vs. Carolina Univ. (Tuesday, Oct. 13, 7 p.m.).
The Tornados then make the trek to Fayetteville, N.C., for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Methodist on Saturday, October 17, ahead of a mid-week trip to Wilmore, Ky., to take on Asbury at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21. The final regular-season road match is in Buena Vista, Va., against Southern Virginia at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 24. Brevard wraps up the 2026 regular season on Wednesday, October 28, at 7 p.m. vs. Pfeiffer at Ives-Lemel Family Field, ahead of the start of the 2026 USA South Tournament, beginning on Saturday, October 31.
