Brevard Men’s Basketball Sets 2026-27 Schedule

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College men's basketball program has announced its upcoming 2026-27 schedule.
 
The Tornados will compete a total of 12 times inside the Boshamer Gymnasium, and have 16 USA South Conference matches on the docket.
 
"We have put together another challenging schedule for our players," commented Head Coach Lee Burgess, who enters his 14th campaign at the helm of Tornado men's basketball. "It is an exciting time with the guys getting on campus, and the release of the schedule. Everyone is looking forward to getting to work, and getting ready for our first game on November 7."
 
The 2026-27 season begins with a three-game road swing, starting first on Saturday, November 7 in LaGrange, Georgia against LaGrange, with the season tipping off at 4 p.m. BC then returns to Western North Carolina to compete against local foe Warren Wilson on Monday, November 9 at 7 p.m. in Swannanoa. Brevard's final contest of the road stretch will take place on Saturday, November 14 at 1 p.m. in Charlotte vs. Johnson & Wales.
 
The Tornados open their home schedule on Tuesday, November 17 at 7 p.m., squaring off against Bob Jones at The Bosh. BC then will compete in an exhibition at NCAA DII Lees-McRae on Saturday, November 21 in Banner Elk, N.C. before returning home for rematches against LaGrange (Tuesday, Dec. 1, 5:30 p.m.) and Warren Wilson (Thursday, Dec. 3, 5:30 p.m.).
 
Brevard will take part in a multi-team event in Lookout Mountain, Georgia on Friday and Saturday, December 11-12, facing Huntingdon first on Friday at 4 p.m. before taking on the host Covenant on Saturday at 3 p.m. BC's final home event of the 2026 calendar will be on Tuesday, December 15 at 4 p.m. as the Tornados welcome Piedmont. BC closes 2026 in Lynchburg, Virginia on Tuesday, December 29 at 5 p.m., as Brevard faces Randolph.
 
BC opens up 2027 with its USA South Conference opener on Saturday, January 2 at 2 p.m. vs. Methodist at The Bosh. The Tornados will continue the two-game home stand vs. Southern Virginia on Tuesday, January 5 at 2 p.m. before traveling to Staunton, Virginia to face Mary Baldwin (Saturday, Jan. 9, 1 p.m.).
 
The Tornados then return home for a rematch with JWU Charlotte on Monday, January 11 at 7 p.m. before a conference road trip at NC Wesleyan (Saturday, Jan. 16) and at Methodist (Sunday, Jan. 17, 2 p.m.). Brevard then hosts William Peace on Saturday, January 23 at 2 p.m. before a Tuesday, January 26 road trip to Greensboro, where tip time is slated for 5:30 p.m.
 
BC caps the month of January off with a rematch vs. NC Wesleyan at home on Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. February begins with a home showdown with Pfeiffer on Wednesday, February 3 at 7 p.m. before a road test at William Peace in Raleigh on Saturday, February 6.
 
The Tornados continue down the home stretch of the regular season with a Tuesday, February 9 home battle with Greensboro at 5:30 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. tip at Southern Virginia in Buena Vista on Saturday, February 13 at 2 p.m.
 
BC's final road game of the regular season will be on Wednesday, February 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Misenheimer, North Carolina vs. Pfeiffer. The Tornados will host Mary Baldwin for Senior Day on Saturday, February 20 at 2 p.m.
 
The 2027 USA South Conference Men's Basketball Tournament will begin with first-round action on Tuesday, February 23, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, February 25. The championship will take place on Saturday, February 27.
