Brevard Women's Basketball Releases 2026-27 Schedule

BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College women's basketball program has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
 
The Tornados will compete 11 times inside the Boshamer Gymnasium, and will face off in 18 USA South Conference contests.
 
"As always, this time of year brings a ton of excitement," commented Head Coach Donald Hudson, who enters his 11th season at the helm of Tornado women's basketball. "We look forward to embracing the challenges that come along with a basketball season. We are hopeful that our non-conference schedule will help prepare us for a tough slate of USA South opponents."
 
Brevard opens the 2026-27 regular season on Wednesday, November 11 at 6 p.m. at Warren Wilson in Swannanoa, N.C. The Tornados will then compete in their first home contest of the season on Friday, November 13 at 6:30 p.m., welcoming Bob Jones to The Bosh for a 6:30 p.m. tip time.
 
The Tornados will face UNC Asheville in a DI exhibition on Tuesday, November 17 at 6:30 p.m. before returning to regular season action with a two-game road trip to Georgia to face LaGrange (Monday, Nov. 23, 5 p.m.) and Berry (Tuesday, Nov. 24, 6 p.m.).
 
Brevard returns home, opening the month of December with a rematch against Warren Wilson on Thursday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. ahead of its USA South opener on the road on Saturday, December 5 at 2 p.m. vs. Methodist in Fayetteville, N.C.
 
BC faces Bob Jones to close out the home-and-home series on Thursday, December 10 at 4 p.m. in Greenville, S.C. before returning to conference action the following day, as the Tornados trek to Rocky Mount, N.C. for a 6 p.m. tip on Friday, December 11. The Tornados will close out the 2026 calendar at home on Saturday, December 19 at 12 p.m. vs. Meredith.
 
January begins with consecutive home conference contests vs. William Peace (Saturday, Jan. 2, 4 p.m.) and vs. Southern Virginia (Tuesday, Jan. 5, 4 p.m.) in a rematch of the past two USA South Tournament Championships.
 
BC will travel to Staunton, Va. on Saturday, January 9 for a 4 p.m. matchup with Mary Baldwin before returning home to face Greensboro on Wednesday, January 13 at 6:30 p.m. The Tornados then hit the road for a pair of conference showdowns at Meredith (Saturday, Jan. 16, 2 p.m.) and at Salem (Tuesday, Jan. 19, 6 p.m.).
 
A three-game homestand at The Bosh begins on Saturday, January 23 at 4 p.m. vs. Methodist, and rolls on with Pfeiffer visiting on Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 6:30 p.m. The finale of the homestand features NC Wesleyan on Saturday, January 30 at 4 p.m.
 
The final month of the season begins with a Wednesday, February 3 trip to Greensboro starting at 6 p.m. BC will then travel to Raleigh to face William Peace on Saturday, February 6 at 4 p.m. ahead of a home showdown with Salem on Tuesday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m.
 
Brevard will then visit Buena Vista, Va. on Saturday, February 13 at 4 p.m. vs. Southern Virginia before the final road contest of the 2026-27 regular season on Wednesday, February 17 at 6 p.m. vs. Pfeiffer in Misenheimer, N.C. Senior Day for BC women's basketball is slated for Saturday, February 20 at 4 p.m. vs. Mary Baldwin.
 
The 2027 USA South Conference Women's Basketball Tournament will begin with first-round action on Tuesday, February 23, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, February 25. The championship will take place on Saturday, February 27.
