Baylee Ramey serves as the Assistant Linebackers Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach at Brevard College, bringing proven leadership, competitive experience, and a strong understanding of player development to the coaching staff.
A two-time USA South All-Conference linebacker in 2024 and 2025, Ramey established himself as one of the conference's premier defensive players. He was also selected as a team captain in both seasons, earning the respect of his coaches and teammates through his leadership, work ethic, and commitment to the program. As captain, he organized player-led practices, conducted team meetings, and helped set the standard for accountability and preparation.
During his collegiate career, Ramey became a cornerstone of the Tornados' defense. He finished with 168 career tackles, 15 tackles for loss, four sacks, and two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown. In addition to his defensive production, he contributed on all four core special team units, demonstrating his versatility, toughness, and team-first mentality.
As a coach, Ramey applies his playing experience and passion for player development to mentor student-athletes both on and off the field. His coaching focuses on linebacker fundamentals, defensive preparation, leadership development, and strength and conditioning, helping players maximize their performance while building discipline, accountability, and a championship mindset.
