Brandon Unangst, a 2023 graduate of Brevard College and five-year Tornado starter on the offensive line, enters his fourth season on staff with the Tornados in 2026 as the Director of Player Performance/Tight Ends/H-Backs.
 
The Forest City, North Carolina product played in 45 games through his five-season career at BC, and was a three-time USA South All-Conference selection over the course of his career. Unangst was an integral part of Brevard’s 2019 ECAC Scotty Whitelaw Bowl championship as well.
 
Following his collegiate playing career, Unangst had been able to maintain a coaching and professional playing career, competing for both the Sioux City Bandits of the National Arena League (2023) and the Lohja Crusaders overseas in Finland (2024).
