HIGHLIGHTS:

• Selected as part of the 2025 Oklahoma Football Coaches Association 35 Under 35.
• Helped Crooked Oak High School Men’s Soccer go 28-6 and win an Oklahoma State Championship in 2024.
• Helped Bondorf Bulls go 20-4 and earn 2 German American Football Championships from 2018-2020 earning 2 league promotions.

 
Kris Alvarez enters his first full season on staff with Brevard College Football in 2026. Alvarez comes to Brevard following a stint as a defensive coordinator at Putnam City West High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Prior to his time at West, he served in similar positions at Crooked Oak High School, Bondorf Bulls and the Stuttgart Scorpions, both part of the German Football League organizations. Alvarez resumed coaching while serving Active Duty in the United States Army for 9 years as a Military Police Sergeant and Drug Investigator.
