AT A GLANCE:

• A two-sport athlete in Football (2012-2016) and Track & Field (2012-2016) at Bob Jones High School in Madison, Alabama.
• Made three-straight appearances in the Alabama class 6A and 7A State Playoffs in Football & was an All-State Triple Jumper both indoor and outdoor in Track & Field.
• Played 3 seasons at the University of North Alabama and helped lead the team to a Conference Championship and Divison II National Championship Game appearance (2016).
• WR on the Inaugural Division 1 University of North Alabama football Team.
• Led Miles College to a SIAC Conference Championship Football game appearance (2021).
• Dual Bachelor's Degrees with Summa Cum Lade Distinction in Accounting and Business Administration from Miles College.

Nelson is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, grew up in Madison, Alabama, and has one sister. Nelson is entering his first season of coaching in the Fall of 2022 for the Brevard College Tornados as the Wide Receivers Coach, while also directing Community Outreach efforts for the program.
