Before his role at BC, Woodcock competed as a men's lacrosse student-athlete at Averett University in the USA South Conference.

“We are excited to have someone like Coach Woodcock join us next season,” commented Coach Dangel. “He is a dedicated individual with a true love for the sport, both of which are translated through his actions and words.”

Woodcock will begin his duties at Brevard College on August 1 in preparation for the 2025-26 academic year and the start of Dangel's second season at the helm of the Tornados.

“I’m excited to join Brevard College as the Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach,” stated Coach Woodcock. “I’m grateful to Coach Dangel for the opportunity and look forward to learning from his leadership. I can’t wait to get started with the team and hope to make a meaningful impact on the program.”

As a midfielder for the Averett men's lacrosse program, Woodcock scored seven goals and registered a team-best 12 assists in 2022.  In his collegiate career, he scored 14 goals to go along with 21 assists in 34 games.   Woodcock was also a team captain of the Averett University eSports team for two seasons, while also completing an internship with the athletic department's Strength and Conditioning program.

A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, Woodcock graduated from Averett University with a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education/Coaching with a minor in Communication Studies.
