Kayla Landman

Brevard College women's soccer added Kayla Landman to its coaching staff as Assistant Coach in 2024. Landman enters her second season with the Tornados in 2025 after working directly with USA South Goalkeeper of the Year Abby Nunez in 2024.

Landman comes to Brevard after a career as a women's soccer student-athlete at NCAA DI Morehead State University, a member of the Ohio Valley Conference located in Morehead, Kentucky.

In her freshman season, she appeared in 14 contests with 12 starts, and earned OVC Goalkeeper of the Week honors following victories over Belmont and Purdue Fort Wayne. Landman racked up over 1,100 minutes in goal her freshman season, and rallied a season-best 14 saves vs. Murray State on October 4, 2019, which were the most saves by an Eagle GK since 2006.

Landman most recently served as both an Assistant Coach and later the Head Coach of the Bath County Girls Soccer team following her on the field playing career.

While at Morehead State, Landman was a Leader in the organization Athletes in Action throughout her collegiate tenure. Athletes in Action is a global community that helps coaches and athletes grow physically, mentally, and spiritually both on and off the field.
