Brevard College Head Volleyball Coach Abbie Parde announced the addition of former BC volleyball student-athlete Bailey Lance ’25 to the coaching staff, as Lance has been named Volunteer Assistant Coach. Lance enters her first season on staff in 2025.
Lance joined the Tornado staff after a highly-successful four-season playing career at Brevard in which she achieved numerous personal milestones and set program records as the team’s libero.
In 108 total matches played in four seasons with the Tornados, Lance blew through the 1,000 career digs mark, accumulating 1,825 over her playing career to rank second all-time in BC’s NCAA era. Lance served up a NCAA-era BC record 213 career service aces and 0.54 aces-per-set, with single-season records for aces (67) and aces-per-set (0.68) as well.
Lance was selected as the USA South Conference Defensive Player of the Week in 2023, and off the court earned 2023-24 USA South Academic All-Conference honors and was selected as a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District performer in 2022.
