JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn.- The Brevard College volleyball team concluded their 2013 season with a 3-0 loss at the hands of Carson-Newman College in Holt Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles won by scores of 25-19, 25-23, and 25-14.
Senior Erin Rollins had nine kills to front BC, while Megan Clark had seven and Fatima Gharachorloo contributed six. The Tornados hit .159 as a team on the afternoon.
Aleksandra Vrvilo had a game-high 17 digs defensively for BC. Senior Kayla Hanus chipped in 12 digs while Gharachorloo added 11.
Hanus recorded a double-double on the afternoon, distributing 26 set assists to pair with her 12 digs.
Rachel Harper paced the Eagles with a game-high 17 kills with the help of Kristen Pickett's 39 set assists.
Saturday's match concludes the careers of Rollins, Clark, Hanus, Kortney Conner, Joy Oswalt and Amanda Possidente.
