BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College men's lacrosse team has released its 2024 schedule.
 
"We are excited about the opponents we have on the schedule this year," commented third-year Head Coach JD LeMay. "We have a few new teams on the schedule that we haven't seen before who will be fun to compete against. Our non-conference schedule will prepare us for a competitive USA South Conference schedule the second half of the year. We are looking forward to the 2024 season and can't wait to get on the field."
 
BC will play a grand total of 10 home contests in the Spring, with eight total matchups with USA South Conference foes. Additionally, 13 of its 15 games will be played within North Carolina state lines.
 
Brevard will open 2024 up with a road trip to NCAA DII Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina on Wednesday, February 14 at 7 p.m. BC will then kick off a season-long six-game homestand beginning on Saturday, February 17 with the third iteration of the Battle of Blue Ridge rivalry contest with Warren Wilson College at Ives-Lemel Family Field, with faceoff slated for 7 p.m.
 
BC then plays host to Oglethorpe University on Wednesday, February 28 at 7 p.m. before hosting Hiram College (Tuesday, March 5, 6 p.m.) and Husson University (Friday, March 8, 5 p.m.) for weekday action.
 
The homestand wraps up with a pair of contests over Spring Break vs. Wilmington University (Monday, March 11, 12 p.m.) and vs. Franciscan University (Thursday, March 14, 1 p.m.) before USA South play begins on the road on Saturday, March 23 in Buena Vista, Virginia against Southern Virginia University at 1 p.m. The month of March concludes with a home contest vs. Methodist University on Saturday, March 30 at 5 p.m.
 
Brevard will host William Peace University on Saturday, April 6 at 2 p.m. before traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina the following Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. to take on Greensboro College. BC competes in consecutive road games for the first time all season on Wednesday, April 17 with a trip to Pfeiffer University at 4 p.m. in Misenheimer, North Carolina before taking on Huntingdon College on Saturday, April 20 under the lights at 7 p.m. at home. BC's final home matchup is on Wednesday, April 24 at 6 p.m. vs. Piedmont University prior to the final regular season contest of the year - a Saturday, April 27 trip to LaGrange, Georgia to take on LaGrange College.
 
The 2024 USA South Conference Men's Lacrosse Tournament begins on Tuesday, April 30 with first-round action. The semifinals (Friday, May 3) and championship (Saturday, May 4) will be conducted at the number-one overall seed's site.
