BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Brevard College men's basketball team (0-3) fell 76-65 to Birmingham-Southern College (2-1) on Friday night in Birmingham, Alabama.
Quincy Carter scored a team-high 13 points and made six field goals.
Charlie Hester and
Chancey Watson added nine points each, while
Darius Stewart grabbed a team-best six rebounds.
The Tigers were led by Jay Gillespie, who paced four double-digit scorers with 19 points.
BSC scored 27 points off turnovers and put in 17 second-chance points. Brevard outscored the Tigers 40-19 off the bench, however, but BSC outpaced BC 46-26 in the painted area.
The Tornados close out tournament action tomorrow at 4 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. CT vs. Sewanee.
