GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Brevard College women's soccer team (1-2) fell 3-0 to Guilford College (2-0) on Wednesday evening at the Armfield Athletic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Quakers used a pair of first half goals followed by a strike in the second period to take the three-score victory.
BC goalkeeper Nicole Arroyo made her third start of the year for the Tornados and logged the game's only save.
Guilford's Baylee Greenwood scored both of her shot attempts, while Mya Rivera added a goal. Olivia Santos dished out the game's only assist.
The Tornados used a heavy rotation in Wednesday's contest, as 25 different BC players entered the game.
Guilford was able to hold Brevard without a shot attempt, as the Quakers outshoot the Tornados 13-0. BC was able to take two corner kicks, but neither resulted at an attempt on goal.
Brevard will return to play at home on Saturday as the Tornados welcome Toccoa Falls College to Ives-Lemel Family Field, with start time slated for a prime time slot of 7 p.m.
