SWANNANOA, N.C. – The Brevard College women's basketball team (4-1) defeated host William Peace (0-6) 81-33 on Monday evening in non-conference play in Swannanoa, North Carolina.
Freshman
Analee Morris recorded career-highs in points (15), made field goals (7), rebounds (4), assists (2), steals (2) and minutes played (19) to lead the Tornados. Sophomore
Kennedie Noble registered a career-high of 13 points, while senior
Josie Hester also hit double-digits with a 13-point effort.

Naliyah Boyce led all players with seven rebounds apiece. Senior point guard
Lexi Shepard was the game's top distributor with four assists. Freshman Malayka Rakin led all players with four steals to go along with career-highs in points (5) and rebounds (3).
Thirteen different Tornados found the scoring column and 17 players saw action in the overall team victory as BC's bench produced a season-high 46 points.
Brevard's
Christena Rhone hit a 3-pointer off an assist by Shepard for the game's first points as the Tornados went on to lead the entire contest. BC led 19-8 at the end of the first quarter before a dominant 23-5 second period. In that second stanza, Brevard shot 10-of-24 from the field, while holding WWC to a 1-of-19 shooting. The Tornados would go on to cruise through the third and fourth quarters as well to secure their largest margin of victory this season.
Brevard continues its road swing with a trip Tuesday to take on host Berry College. Tip off is set for 6 p.m in Mount Berry, Georgia. Following the Thanksgiving holiday, the Tornados will return to USA South Conference play with a home matchup vs. North Carolina Wesleyan on Tuesday, December 3 at the Boshamer Gymnasium.
