BREVARD, N.C. - The Greensboro College Pride (20-12, 10-3 USA South) scored runs in innings one-through-six en route to a 22-1 run-rule victory in seven innings over the Brevard College baseball team (12-18, 7-6 USAS) on Saturday afternoon at Gil Coan Field. 

Greensboro slugged their way to 22 runs thanks to 20 hits, nine walks, and eight hit-by-pitches issued by the Tornado pitching staff. GC racked up seven extra bass hits - six doubles and a home run. 

GC scored four in the first before adding three to its lead in the top of the second. BC got on the board when Lucas Granata drove in Cale Oehler on a fielder's choice RBI, but that was the last time the Tornados could cross the plate as GC added 15 more to its lead - including a seven-run fifth - to close the game out. 

The two sides will finish the series on Sunday in a doubleheader slated to begin at 1 p.m.
