ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The Brevard College track & field team wrapped up its regular season by competing in the Asheville Bulldog Invite, hosted by UNC Asheville.
Highlighting the event for the Tornados was another stellar performance in the women's 800-meter race by graduate student Channing Barker. Barker defeated several NCAA DI student-athletes en route to a third-place finish in the event.
Haylea-Layne Miller finished 13th in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a season-best mark of 1:12.09.
On the Throws side, Donningtun Walters placed 12th in men's discus (39.99m), while Noah Westbrook had a 13.39m throw in shot put to finish in 13th.
Next up for the Tornados is the 2025 USA South Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The two-day event begins on Friday, April 25 in Concord, North Carolina.
