BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College men's tennis senior
Hayden LeBlanc was voted to the USA South All-Conference First Team, while freshman
Nathan Bookout represents BC on the USA South All-Sportsmanship Team as the league announced its postseason awards.
LeBlanc, a second-year Tornado from Zachary, Louisiana, put together yet another impressive individual season on the courts. A USA South Player of the Week selection in 2024-25, LeBlanc accrued a 13-5 overall singles record and a 10-3 singles mark in dual matches, with nine of his 10 victories coming at the number-one spot. LeBlanc also teamed up for 10 doubles victories over the course of the 2024-25 campaign.
Bookout, a first-year Tornado from Cherryville, North Carolina, went 11-6 overall in singles action in 2024-25. Bookout came up with a match-clinching singles win at Southern Virginia, which allowed the Tornados to host the first round of the 2025 USA South Tournament.
The Tornados recently concluded a successful 2024-25 season for the Tornados, who won double-digit matches for the first time since the 2010-11 season. BC began 2024-25 with a 7-0 record for the first time in program history, and Brevard appeared in the ITA DIII top 75 for the first time as a team. This season's postseason appearance marked the fourth consecutive for Brevard.
