BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College baseball's
Frankie Vasquez was selected onto the USA South Conference Baseball All-Tournament Team as the league wrapped up its postseason tournament this past weekend.
Vasquez, BC's all-time batting average leader (.370) and DII-era leader in hits (197), put forth some career-best numbers in 2025. The Pembroke Pines, Florida product hit a career-high .407 at the dish with a team-high 59 base hits, slugging a career-high 16 doubles and matching his career-best output with six home runs.
Over the course of his sensational four-year Tornado career, Vasquez hit a school NCAA-era record .370 with 197 base knocks, 47 doubles, 16 home runs, 112 runs scored, and 158 RBI. Vasquez slugged .553 for his career with a career-best .641 slugging percentage in 2025, and got on base at a .451 clip for a career OPS of 1.004.
In the 2025 USA South Conference Tournament, the All-Conference First Team honoree went 5-for-11 with six RBI, four runs scored, two doubles and a home run to cap off his collegiate career in style.
BC qualified for the USA South postseason for the third-consecutive year this past season, and accumulated double-digit wins in conference action for the third-straight campaign. Three total Tornados earned All-Conference honors as well.
