Tornados Open 2026 at Home

BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College men's lacrosse team (0-1) fell 28-2 to Centenary College of Louisiana (3-0) in the first contest of the 2026 campaign on Sunday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field.

Senior attacker Gage Khayat scored the first goal of BC's season off a long assist by Max Dorman. Dorman, a long-stick midfielder from Charleston, S.C., scored his first goal of the season and second of his collegiate career. Dorman and Khayat each caused a pair of turnovers, while Colin Eifler snagged four ground balls in his collegiate debut. Making his first collegiate start, Jameson Murray racked up 12 saves in the cage.

Centenary impressed from the opening whistle, as Gamble Harvill - who set the NCAA single-game goal record earlier this season vs. Hendrix (14 goals), scored 10 and added three assists against BC. The Gents were propelled by Noah Walsh's six goals and 14 assists to complete the two-headed attack. Gavin Ferrington set up Centenary with 15 faceoff wins and 11 ground ball.

Brevard next hosts Point on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
