BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College men's lacrosse team (0-2) fell 20-5 to Point University (2-1) to close out the 2026 season-opening two-game homestand on Tuesday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
Senior attacker
Gage Khayat led the way for the Tornados with two goals and two assists, while
Max Dorman put a career-best two goals in the back of the net alongside his defensive work of six ground balls and four caused turnovers.
Colin Eifler, competing in just his second collegiate contest, scored the first goal of his career with a team-high eight ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Jameson Murray made a career-high 14 saves in the net, and
Logan Southern won 10 faceoffs and snagged four ground ball.
Twelve different Skyhawks scored in the matchup, led by Malyke Sillers and Zachary Covey's four goals apiece. Covey was involved with 13 of Point's 20 goals, with nine assists along with his four scores.
The Tornados hit the road to Lynchburg, Va. on Saturday for a 3 p.m. first faceoff against Randolph.
