BREVARD, N.C. – Brevard College senior forward
Olivia Miller was named USA South Conference Player of the Week for the second time in 2025-26 as the Tornados come down the home stretch of the 2025-26 regular season.
Miller, a native of Hudson, N.C., averaged 19.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game last week as the Tornados posted a 2-0 record against USA South competition. In an 86-48 win over Mary Baldwin, Miller posted a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds to go along with three steals, two assists, and two blocks. In a 73-63 win at Southern Virginia, snapping the Knights' 34-game Conference regular season winning streak, Miller scored 20 points with nine rebounds, three assists, and one steal.
Through 22 games in 2025-26, Miller has scored in double figures 18 times, seven games in a row, and eight out of the last nine contests. Her 20-point performance in the victory over first-place Southern Virginia marked the third time she has scored 20 or more points this season. Miller has recorded seven double-doubles in 2025-26 as well.
In her three seasons at BC, Miller has played in 66 games with 59 starts, shooting 53% from the field with 372 made field goals, adding 412 rebounds, 174 assists, 116 steals, and 45 blocked shots while scoring a total of 806 points in a Tornado uniform.
Miller and the BC women's basketball team will conclude the regular season this week. First, Brevard travels to face Greensboro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Greensboro, N.C. before returning home for two games against Pfeiffer (Thursday, 7 p.m.) and NC Wesleyan (Saturday, 2 p.m.).
