BREVARD, N.C. - The Brevard College women's lacrosse team (3-3) used a seven-goal fourth period to surge past Randolph (0-6), 13-7, securing its first home win of 2026 on Friday afternoon at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
Trailing by a goal heading into the final 15 minutes of play, the Tornados found the back of the net seven times unanswered to clinch the win. Arianna Casertano scored all three of her goals in the final period, with Madi Norris scoring twice in addition to goals by Xan Hill and Sofia Hardin.
Casertano, Hill, Norris, and Jordan Frenette all had hat tricks in the win, while Hardin added two goals and two assists. Natalie Lopez Velez was crucial on the defensive end, securing five ground balls and four caused turnovers, while Hill added four ground balls, three caused turnovers, and six draw controls. Casertano matched Hill with six draw control wins, and tied Hardin in assists with a pair of dimes. Kyla Smith-Fondall held the Wildcats to single-digit goals and made nine saves in net.
