BREVARD, N.C. – A program-record five Brevard College men's lacrosse student-athletes earned Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Devian Anderson,
Max Dorman,
Roderick Frazier Jr.,
Caleb Melton, and
Jameson Murray all earned the prestigious accolade.
Anderson, a rising junior defender from Orlando, Florida majoring in Biology, competed in all 17 games for the Tornados with 16 starts, racking up 34 ground balls with nine caused turnovers. Anderson snatched up a season-high four ground balls in three different games, and caused a pair of turnovers twice.
Dorman, a recent graduate of BC who received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, finished his collegiate career as both the single-season (39) and career (88) record holder for caused turnovers at Brevard. The fourth-year long-stick played and started in all 17 games in 2026, racking up 55 ground balls and 39 caused turnovers while scoring a career-high four goals with his first two collegiate assists.
Frazier Jr., a rising junior from Columbia, South Carolina majoring in Computer Science, competed in 17 games with 13 starts in his first collegiate lacrosse campaign, scoring the first two goals of his career while adding 34 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. Frazier Jr. secured a career-high seven ground balls vs. Warren Wilson, and caused three turnovers against William Peace.
Melton, a rising senior from Spartanburg, South Carolina working towards his Business degree, played in all 17 games while making 16 starts for the Tornados in 2026. The defender controlled 20 ground balls and caused 10 turnovers in his first season with Brevard.
Murray, a rising junior from Charleston, South Carolina, who is majoring in Criminal Justice at BC, set both the BC and USA South single-season save record in 2026 with 296 total. Murray stopped a single-game BC record 36 shot attempts at LaGrange, and made double-digit saves in all 17 of BC's matchups in 2026.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
