BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College track & field team earned a pair of spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, with
Colbin Hill and
Donningtun Walters securing the prestigious honor.
Hill, a rising junior Art major from Key West, Florida, qualified for the award by finishing 42
nd in the region in the 3000m Steeplechase during the outdoor season.
Walters, a rising junior Criminal Justice major from Dacula, Georgia, earned five total top-50 regional finishes throughout indoor and outdoor seasons. During the indoor campaign, Walters was 10
th in the region in the Weight Throw, and 22
nd in the region in Shot Put. In the outdoor season, Walters finished 20
th in Discus, 23
rd in Shot Put, and 24
th in Hammer Throw.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Cross Country and Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
