Hayden LeBlanc made an early statement with a 6-1 victory in number one doubles.

However, the Bears responded with wins in number two and three doubles. Number two doubles was a particularly tight match with TMU's team prevailing over BC's tandem of senior
Devin Horton and junior
Noah Lewis in a tiebreaker.

Leading 2-1 after doubles play, Truett McConnell won the necessary singles matches to clinch the team victory with wins in the number three through six slots.

Brevard was victorious in number one and number two singles. LeBlanc won no. 1 singles in impressive fashion 6-2, 6-1. Bernitt followed with a strong 6-4, 6-0 victory in no. 2 singles.

Horton (no. 3), Lewis (no. 4),
Peter Bresko (no. 5) and
David Hoyle (no. 6) rounded out singles competition for the Tornados.

Bresko also saw action teaming with senior
James Srsich for BC's number three doubles team.

The Tornados returns to action with the USA South Conference opener at NC Wesleyan on Saturday in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
