BREVARD, N.C. – A pair of Brevard College men's tennis rising juniors were recently selected to the Academic All-District Team by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
 
Nathan Bookout, a native of Cherryville, N.C., and Connor Sechrist, a native of Mount Airy, N.C., were each awarded the prestigious distinction.
 
Bookout, an Environmental Studies major at BC, completed his second season with the Tornados in 2025-26. The rising junior earned a team-best 10 singles victories, with all 10 coming at the number-three spot in the lineup. Bookout also competed with six different doubles partners in 2025-26, earning a victory with fellow CSC honoree Sechrist.
 
Sechrist, a first-year Tornado, earned six singles wins spread across the number four-through-six spots. A Communications major at BC, Sechrist also earned four total doubles wins.
