Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Brevard College men's lacrosse team (2-10, 0-4 USA South) dropped a 23-6 decision to Greensboro College (6-7, 3-4 USAS) on Saturday afternoon in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Atticus Cooper led BC's offense with two goals and an assist, while graduate attacker
Parker Corbett added a pair of scores.
Michael Peters – fresh off scoring his first collegiate goals in a win over Warren Wilson on Tuesday – scored once, with
Nate Stone also adding a goal for the Tornados.
Tyler Cameron, a freshman from Shallotte, North Carolina, added to his impressive defensive work with two caused turnovers and seven ground balls.
Jack Hicks was in goal for the Tornados, recording 12 saves.
The Pride had three players score five goals each, with Justin Barry leading the pack with an eight-point performance (five goals, three assists). Alex Mattoon added five goals and two assists, while Jameson Doll scored five goals as well. In total, nine GC players found the back of the cage.
Greensboro held a 56-34 shot advantage, went 4-for-4 in extra-man opportunities, grabbed 52 ground balls, went 17-for-19 on clear attempts, and dominated the faceoff battle going 25-for-32.
Greensboro started off hot, scoring four consecutive goals within the game's first three minutes of action. Corbett and Cooper cut the deficit in half, however, with back-to-back goals at the seven-minute mark. The Pride found an answer with a goal at the 4:29 mark and a goal with 2:57 left to play in the first period, as the hosts took a four-goal edge into the second period of action.
Stone put in an assist from Cooper at the 12:23 mark in the second quarter, but the Pride took advantage of a Tornado penalty and scored a man-up goal at the 11:38 mark, pushing the lead back up to four goals. A Tornado turnover turned into Greensboro's eighth goal of the game midway through the second period, stretching the lead to five. These two scores led to a stretch of six-straight Pride scores, as Greensboro took a 12-3 lead into the halftime break. The Pride took control of the second half early, outscoring BC 8-2 in the third period and closed out the game in the fourth quarter with a 3-1 edge to take the 23-6 win.
The Tornados are in Misenheimer, North Carolina on Wednesday, April 17, taking on Pfeiffer University at 6:30 p.m.
