Wells Added to BC MLAX Staff as Volunteer Assistant Coach

BREVARD, N.C. – Joshua Wells has been added to the Brevard College men's lacrosse staff as a Volunteer Assistant Coach, announced BC Head Coach Austin Hurley.

"Josh is a great coach that brings a lot of talent to the team and I'm excited to have him on board helping with recruiting and the growth of the program," commented Coach Hurley. "I'm thrilled with the coaching staff that we are building, and the future is bright for BC men's lacrosse."

Wells comes aboard after most recently coaching at the MCLA D2 level, coaching at his alma mater Kennesaw State University. Wells helped lead KSU to a berth into Nationals and a first round victory over the Cal State San Marcos Cougars in Austin, Texas.

Wells played collegiately for one season at Emmanuel College and one season of club lacrosse at Kennesaw State.  Wells helped KSU to a SELC Championship as an athlete. In high school, Wells competed as a midfielder for Pope High School in Marietta, Georgia, competing in a State Title game his senior season. Under the direction of Pope Men's Lacrosse Head Coach Carl Pfaff, Wells helped with summer lacrosse youth camp programs throughout his high school playing years, helping fuel his passion for coaching at a younger age.
