BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College men's lacrosse team has announced its schedule for the 2026 campaign.
 
BC's schedule features 17 total regular-season contests, with nine home contests and eight USA South Conference competitions.
 
"There's a growing sense of excitement around Brevard College Men's Lacrosse as we prepare for the upcoming season," commented first-year Head Coach Austin Hurley. "Our team is focused, motivated, and ready to take the next step in building something special."
 
The 2026 season unofficially begins on Saturday, Feb. 7, when the Tornados host Western Carolina's club squad for a scrimmage set for 3:30 p.m. at Ives-Lemel Family Field. BC's regular season kicks off with a Sunday, Feb. 15 home match vs. Centenary at 3 p.m., followed by a Tuesday, Feb. 17 contest vs. Point at 3 p.m.
 
BC's first road test of the season comes on Saturday, Feb. 21, when the Tornados travel to Lynchburg, Va., to face Randolph at 3 p.m. BC returns home to play Mount Vernon Nazarene on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. before concluding the month of February in Atlanta on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 12 p.m. against Oglethorpe.
 
Brevard will compete in its first USA South contest of 2026 when the Tornados host Methodist on Saturday, March 7, at 4 p.m. The Tornados then welcome Alfred State on Monday, March 9, at 2 p.m. before a three-game road swing. Brevard will travel to the state of Ohio to face both Wilmington (Thursday, March 12, 12 p.m.) and Hiram (Saturday, March 14, 1 p.m.). The first USA South road match of 2026 takes place in Greensboro, N.C. on Tuesday, March 17, at 7 p.m. against Greensboro.
 
The Tornados return home to face William Peace on Saturday, March 21, at 3 p.m. before hitting the road once more for a pair of league competitions. BC heads to LaGrange, Ga., squaring off against LaGrange on Saturday, March 28, before trekking to Buena Vista, Va., on Friday, April 3, to compete against Southern Virginia at 7 p.m.
 
Piedmont comes to town on Friday, April 10, at 5:30 p.m. before the final regular season road trip of 2026 for the Tornados in Misenheimer, N.C., vs. Pfeiffer on Tuesday, April 14, at 4 p.m. The Tornados will close out conference play on Saturday, April 18, at 2 p.m. at home against Huntingdon before the fifth-annual Battle of the Blue Ridge, set for Tuesday, April 21, at 7:30 p.m. at Ives-Lemel Family Field against nearby foe Warren Wilson.
 
USA South Tournament play begins on Saturday, April 25, with first-round action. The semifinals will take place on Thursday, April 30, and the 2026 USA South Conference Men's Lacrosse Championship will be held on Saturday, May 2.
