BREVARD, N.C. – The Brevard College women's lacrosse team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
The Tornados appear nine total times in the regular season on home turf at Ives-Lemel Family Field, with 15 total regular season contests on the docket. The Tornados will play nine times within the USA South Conference, with 2026 culminating at the USA South Conference Women's Lacrosse Tournament.

Sarah Perry, who enters her second season at the helm of BC WLAX. "After my first year, I realized so many things we can do to improve ourselves from last year. We had a great 2025 run, but I am excited to see the firepower my returners, transfers, and first years bring to the table."
BC's season will unofficially begin on Saturday, January 31 with a home scrimmage against Southern Wesleyan.

"We are returning some key components to our game, but also welcoming some young talent to give us an even bigger edge on the turf."
The 2026 campaign kicks off at home for the Tornados, who welcome Montreat on Friday, Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. for the season opener. BC then hits the road for a Tuesday, Feb. 24 matchup at NC Wesleyan in Rocky Mount, N.C., starting at 3 p.m. for the first USA South competition of the season. The month of February concludes on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at home against Guilford.
A jam-packed March begins for the Tornados on Wednesday, March 4, where BC hosts Marian to wrap up a two-game home swing. BC will then travel to Oglethorpe on Saturday, March 7 in Atlanta, Georgia. BC competes in its first of two back-to-back contests in 2026, with the Tornados first hosting Randolph on Friday, March 13 at 2 p.m. before a Saturday, March 14 trip to Greensboro, N.C. to battle Greensboro at 1 p.m. – BC's second USA South matchup of the season.
USA South action continues in full with a home showdown on Saturday, March 21 at 11 a.m. against Huntingdon before the Tornados hit the road once more to face Piedmont on Tuesday, March 24 at 5 p.m. in Demorest, Ga. March will wrap up on Saturday, March 28 as Brevard squares off with William Peace in a 1 p.m. first draw at Ives-Lemel Family Field.
The fifth-annual Ridge Rivalry will take place on Wedesday, April 1 at 5 p.m. with BC matching up against Warren Wilson in Swannanoa, N.C. The Tornados have retained the Ridge Rivalry trophy for all four seasons.
The 2026 regular season enters its home stretch as the Tornados return to conference action, first with a home date against Pfeiffer on Wednesday, April 8 at 4 p.m. BC then treks to Buena Vista, Virginia for a Saturday, April 11 showdown with Southern Virginia at 3 p.m. Regular-season play concludes with back-to-back USA South home matchups with Methodist (Saturday, April 18, 11 a.m.) and Meredith (Sunday, April 19, 11 a.m.)
USA South Tournament play begins on Saturday, April 25 with first-round action. The semifinals will take place on Thursday, April 30, and the 2026 USA South Conference Women's Lacrosse Championship will be held on Saturday, May 2.
In 2025, the Tornados, qualified for the USA South postseason for the third-straight campaign. Additionally, BC placed a program-record five student-athletes onto the All-Conference squad.
